Cautions & Dangers in Home Remodeling

This story starts out quite out-of-the-ordinary, until it takes an unfortunate turn. Just like many of DLRs’ jobs, we were in the process of returning to a customers residence to perform even more services upon finishing the previous job.

After replacing all the windows in this Northeast, Ohio residence, we came back to remove and replace all the siding and soffit. We also had to address some metal work around the fascia-board, and a rotted out fascia-board at that!

After pulling the siding off, we discovered a Japanese hornets nest as well as a few hornets nests. These hornets were not ordinary either. They were extremely aggressive, and abnormally-large insects.

After days of working around multiple species of wasps, we exhausted over 10 cans of wasp-repelent, to no prevail. Then, we decided it was time to call a professional bee exterminator.

Under these conditions, No DIY projects would be easy to work while surrounded by wasps, its just another problem that needs dealt with, and that’s where DLR Construction comes in.

We have experience in these stressful situations, and there’s no need to get hurt trying to do this on your own!

This homeowner was beyond grateful this situation got handled, because only a week before hand, he was attacked while taking his dog to the restroom and got stung over 20 times!
